About Us: We have been manufacturing and supplying products such as anti siphon devices, and fuel caps to all of the Truck O.E.s for many years. Our products are used extensively in the truck fuel systems but are not visible to the customer as they are integral to the other components in the truck. The exception is the fuel cap. Freightliner recently added our Idle Solutions Genset to their Data Code Book as a authorized option on new Freightliner and Western Star Trucks.
Auxiliary Power Generator: Temco Metal Product Company is supplying the Genset portion of the Idle Solutions system. Our HVAC portion of the Idle Solutions system is manufactured by Dometic Environmental Corp. You may already have some of their products in your fleet as Dometic has considerable experience in 120V HVAC systems, and supplies these products to Freightliner and the Paccar Companies.
What We Offer: Temco, dealing with fuel systems and the laws, has by necessity, a very capable engineering group. This group has been the heart of the design and testing of Idle Solutions Auxiliary Generator. The Idle Solutions system is completely independent of the main Truck engine and fluids. The only two connections are the fuel line to the 3 cyl. Perkins from one of the truck fuel lines and a connection to the battery for starting and recharging purposes. (All fuel lines and electrical cabling is provided).
Authorized Dealers / Installers: Qualified Dealers are currently installing and/or servicing the units nationwide. The Idle Solutions APU, may also be installed by your company should you choose. (Please contact us for direct pricing).
